Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork.
It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading,
and percussion to help the body improve its circulation and release muscle tension.
The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains,
decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
I use light to medium to deep Swedish massage in all of my massage treatments.
Acupressure is amazing. Pressing points along meridians that run up and down your body can release your muscle tension, relieve pain, increase energy and improve your circulation.
This simple and powerful technique has been shown to be very effective in treating headaches,
neck and shoulder tension, backaches, and even insomnia.
Regular Acupressure Therapy will strengthen your Immune system so you can avoid colds and flu viruses.
Acupressure with the hands is very comforting. It can help to heal a bone, calm a panic attack or help
a person breathe that is suffering from asthma.
Acupressure Therapy is a good compliment to medical care, physical therapy and chiropractic treatments.
I use acupressure in all of my massage treatments.
Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet.
Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves,
reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body.
According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet,
so there is more than one way to reach a trouble area.
Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions
such as muscle tension, allergies, headaches, and depression.
I use reflexology with a combination of other modalities in my massages.
Stretching releases tension, reduces stiffness and increases range of motion.
It also increases flexibility and endurance.
It helps to release tension in the shoulders,
aligns the spine, stretches the low back and opens the hips.
I use basic stretching with a combination of other modalities in my massages.
Hot Stone Therapy
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones
are used to massage then are placed at specific sites on your body
to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles.
Muscles that are heated with these stones
release tension and stress much more deeply
and quickly than with a traditional massage.
The overall experience is very relaxing,
nurturing, rejuvenating and comforting.
The Wellness Packages include a complimentary Hot Stone Massage
at the end of the package.
